SAPOL Youth Leadership Camp

Youth Leadership Camp for students South Australia Police, through the Special Tasks and Rescue (S.T.A.R) Group is seeking nominations from principals for students who have been identified as leaders within secondary schools to undertake the Youth Leadership Camp 2019.

The Youth Leadership Camp targets students who demonstrate:

  • Leadership skills.
  • Sound and logical thinking.
  • The ability to work coherently as a part of a team.
  • A capacity to motivate others.
  • The ability to partake in moderate levels of physical exercise free from injury.

The Youth Leadership Camp provides an environment to develop South Australia’s future leaders through interaction with outstanding individuals and high achieving members of South Australia Police and other leading organisations within our community.

Benefits for students undertaking the Youth Leadership Camp include:

  • Best prepare students in undertaking year 12 studies.
  • Opportunity to work among like-minded people.
  • Exposure to diverse challenges.
  • Gain life skills for the future.

The Youth Leadership Camp is a residential camp to be held at the Echunga Police Reserve from 6 January until 11 January, 2019.

This program is supported by South Australia Police and the Lions Club of South Australia and is free to camp participants.

Positions are limited, so a prompt response is encouraged.

Closing Date for Registration of Interest is Friday, 21 of September 2018.
