Sturt Local Service Area

The Sturt Local Service Area (LSA) headquarters is situated at the Sturt Police Centre, where Patrol, Traffic, Community Programs, Administration, Intelligence, Investigation and Criminal Justice Adjudication Units are located. Their core business of policing is one of dealing with crime and disorder, with a dual role of protecting the community. These functions are underpinned by working in partnership with a number of agencies, both Government and non-Government, on several integrated crime reduction programs.

The aim of the Sturt LSA is to:

  • Develop new key community partnerships enhancing police/community relations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to the community focusing on a commitment to Neighbourhood Watch, local Youth Programs, Inter-agency Programs and local business interaction.
  • Foster a collaborative approach with all sections of the community including the diverse cultural groups.
