The Regional Operations Service is responsible for the provision of policing services at the local level in regional South Australia. They promote a problem-solving approach in order to quickly and efficiently respond to incidents and calls for assistance.
The Service is divided geographically into seven Local Service Areas (LSA):
The Regional Operations Executive is based at the Holden Hill Police Complex and provides additional support to the LSAs in the areas of policing, operations coordination, operations planning, finance, administrative planning, multicultural services and intelligence co-ordination.
Focus within Regional Operations Service has been on working together within the community to reassure and protect them from crime and disorder. With this focus a number of initiatives and operations have been conducted with the view of providing the most innovative, modern and progressive service possible in a cost effective and practical manner.
