The West Coast Local Service Area (LSA) encompasses a large portion of Eyre Peninsula and the Western part of South Australia to the Western Australian border. There are sworn members working in the LSA from Yalata in the west to Tumby Bay in the east. Successfully policing such a large area involves dedication and cooperation from the members stationed there. Normal policing issues include offences found in any LSA with a strong traffic element due to the number of main highways traversing the LSA. |
