The Port Adelaide Local Service Area (LSA) provides a customer focused Community Policing service to more than 157 000 residents and businesses within two local Government boundaries of the City of Charles Sturt and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.

Local police are located at the Henley Beach Police Station, Parks Police Station and Port Adelaide Police Station. Police functions from these areas provide mobile patrols, intelligence, criminal justice, traffic, criminal investigation, administration, community programs and victim support services to meet the needs of the community.

Port Adelaide LSA has established partnerships within the community to enable an effective problem solving approach to reducing crime and the fear of crime. All members of SAPOL work as a team and approach their tasks in a modern, motivated, progressive and professional manner that is responsive to the needs and expectations of the local community.
