The North East Local Service Area (LSA) is bounded by the Spencer Gulf to the West, and the New South Wales border to the east, and shares borders with Far North LSA and Barossa-Yorke LSA in the north and south respectively. Covering some 60,000 square kilometres and 18 police districts, North East LSA offer diversity in its climate, its people, its industries and in its policing requirements. With Port Pirie as its headquarters, their officers can be found at 18 stations, with Peterborough and Port Pirie patrol base being the only establishments with more than two members. |
