Duo to face court after Crystal Brook traffic incident

Just after midday on Monday 18 May, Crystal Brook police attempted to stop a Hyundai hatch on The Cattle Track at Redhill, however, it failed to stop. Police did not pursue the vehicle, which was last seen heading towards Crystal Brook.

Following investigations, the driver, a 49-year-old man from Koolunga, was located and reported for failing to stop for police, driving without a licence, and driving an unregistered vehicle. He will be summonsed to court at a later date.

Officers subsequently conducted patrols in Crystal Brook and sighted the Hyundai on Giles Street. The driver stopped and was arrested.

The 35-year-old man from Crystal Brook was charged with driving while disqualified and driving an unregistered vehicle. He was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on 6 July.

The hatch was impounded for 28 days.
